COVID-19 Update (Corona Virus)

The PCC232 Board of Directors and Condominium Manager are taking a proactive stance on the prevention of spreading COVOD-19 (Coronavirus) in the building.

 

The following is being followed through with the building staff:

      • Security, Superintendent & Cleaners have been advised upon entry into the building to wash their hands completely and then use the hand sanitizer provided.
      • Superintendent & Cleaners have always been advised to wear rubber gloves, changing 2 or 3 times a day.
      • All elevators buttons, door handles, etc. will be wiped down 2 – 3 times daily.
      • Superintendent & Cleaners to add Clorox or Vinegar to the mop pail and change more frequently.
      • GymHand sanitizer is provided inside of the gym for all resident’s hand use before going into the gym.  Please wipe down all gym equipment with the disinfectant spray bottle and wall-mounted paper after each use.
      • For the Security Desk, the staff has been advised to wipe down the Security Desk 3 or 4 times per shift – Lysol wipes have been provided.
      • At the end of each shift, Security is to wipe down the keyboard and surrounding area.
      • Hand sanitizer is provided in the main lobby and RC level  for all guests, contractors, etc. for hand use.

Public Health recommends everyday steps to help prevent the spread of germs and viruses:

      • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.  If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
      • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
      • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
      • Stay home when you are sick.
      • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
      • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Face masks are not recommended for the general public, except for people experiencing symptoms and who have been advised to wear a mask by a health care provider.
